A king a king,
But it is the pawn,
Cast out to no-man's land
To protect,
To sacrifice,
So others may live.
It is the pawn,
Drudged through war,
Come out the other side,
Anything it wants.
Come out revered the most,
As should be.
Come out crowned royalty.
